Welcome to our site!

Our mission – “Celebrate and Share Christ with our community and throughout our world.”

We are a community church open to all who wish to join us in worship and in fellowship with others. All are welcome.

Church Sanctuary and Stewart Hall are accessible to people with disabilities.

Our church address is 285 North 2nd St., Hotchkiss, CO.  81419

Where in our community is God calling us to serve?? How are we sharing God’s Love??

1. Beginning this Sunday, February 28th, 2021 we will meet in our buildings for in person worship. Rev. Josh will record his message by video and post that to our churches’ Facebook pages/youtube and distribute that video via the email list.

2. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, 2020 we have been mailing out twice monthly printed summaries of Rev. Josh’s messages to people who cannot view worship online or attend our in  person worship. If you or someone you know would like to added to this mailing list, please email jlhpastor@gmail.com with name and mailing address.

3. Rev. Josh will continue his weekly pastoral phone calls as a way of staying in touch with church members. If you know of someone to add to the church phone call list, someone whose information in the church telephone directory is out of date, or someone who has a pressing prayer concern, please email jlhpastor@gmail.com with the information.

Ten Commandments Book/Video Study starts May 18, 2021

At the request of some of our church members, we will study Adam Hamilton’s new book Words of Life: Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today. This 10-session book and video study will meet at 11:30 a.m.,Tuesdays, May 18 through June 20. We will meet in person in the Paonia UMC fellowship hall. This should allow us enough space to view the video together while still physically distancing. As I write this, we are still under a mask mandate, so please wear a mask if you attend.   If you need help ordering a book, please let Rev. Josh know.  You may email him at jlhpastor@gmail.com

You may follow the church’s Facebook page to stay up to date.

You may follow Pastor Josh at this Facebook link below.  He will be sharing church information on this page. He looks forward to reconnecting with you online.

Mail-in Offerings and Tithes
During each of our  in-person worship gatherings we will not pass an offering plate; however, there will be an offering box or offering plate available as you enter each worship space on Sunday morning. You may drop your offering there as you enter or exit worship. For those who are not comfortable dropping off their offering before or after worship or for those who are worshipping with us online, via the radio, or with our Worship at Home mailing, you may mail your offering in to the church office using the addresses below.
