PEACE CIRCLE
Our Mission – “TO SERVE THE LORD THROUGH LOCAL MINISTRY”
Peace Circle was founded in 1976. This is a women’s organization of the Hotchkiss Community United Methodist Church. Among our many outreaches to the community, since 1982 we have sponsored the first thrift store in Hotchkiss. It’s known as the Wear House and is located in the lower level of Memorial Hall.
We are very thankful for the rewards that we receive from the Wear House sales and the past annual Silent Auction, so that we may continue providing support for Peace Circle’s many local missions for children, organizations, and members of our community.
Peace Circle meets the second Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m., September-May, at Stewart Hall in the Hotchkiss Community United Methodist Church. All women of the community are welcome to join us.
UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
We support programs in the United States and around the world that improve life for women, children and youth and their communities.
Monies are raised through fundraisers held throughout the year for their missions.
Hotchkiss UMIF is currently not meeting.
